Burying the whole truth in denial about the first encounter

It's amazing that it can completely bury something uncomfortable or unpleasant, as if it never happened . I have a recent interest in this gender crossing culture I felt was surprising and unexpected and had never experienced it before in my life . I've been in denial about something that happened in high school . Convincing myself, it was just an embarrassing incident . In junior high, I was just totally mesmerized by a beautiful and sexy girl for junior high standards and was two grades higher than me . I boldly asked for her phone number, and she replied that I was in the same class as her brother and really just too young for her . I graciously asked her if that was the only problem and if it was to please let me know when she thought I was old enough .


I told her I knew she was way too pretty for me, but I had to try anyway . She giggled and pinched my cheek and said she thought I was cute but too young for a boyfriend, and she was going to let me know when I caught up to her in high school. "Boyfriend" ? I'll be waiting for that day and lucky for you to call me that. It was just a phone number I wanted to get.
Everyone found out about it, and I was teased right afterward. My brother was in the same grade as her. It's embarrassing to have a little brother like you was what he said. The following year, she was in high school, and I was two years away.

Well, my friend, I shared a few classes with asked if I had really hit on his big sister. He said, "Don't let it bother you to get all the crap you're getting. He said he was used to it, and I never treated him like that. I was sure he acted a little girly and got a lot of crap for it . But he was always nice and polite and very smart . A good sense of humor is what made us get along . But after I found out he was Lucy's little brother, I wasn't about to let anybody tease him or talk crap to him. In the following years, I noticed a difference in the brutal way boys had gotten to the bullying that Mark was getting.
